What about me, I have a foreign passport?

People with a foreign passport can scan it in the app if you have status "checked" and have a valid, machine-readable ID document. Check the status at skatteetaten.no and, if necessary, book an appointment there to arrange this. If you have received a new passport since the first time you received BankID, you can wait to take any action.

You can use your BankID until we have procedures to handle all groups of users.
