What data is stored in the BankID app when you activate the ID card?

We, Stø, store the data contained in the chip of your Norwegian passport or national ID card, such as your national identity number, date of birth, name, photo, document number and expiry date. BankID BankAxept securely stores all data from the ID document used during activation. All data is encrypted, and only you can unlock this data when you use it. The key to unlock the encrypted data is stored in your BankID app.

Data from the ID document is stored with BankID, but can only be accessed by you.
